What is your favourite SciFi movie?
I love movies about space, planets. My favourites are Aliens.
Every time I rent some "space" movie it is very boring.
So what is your favourite SciFi movie? How's my programming? Call 1-800-DEV-NULL

Solaris (new version, haven't seen the old one - is it even available anywhere? :/)

If you haven't seen Dark City, I suggest fast forwarding through the opening part where Kiefer Sutherland is talking in the phone booth. It pretty much ruins any suspense.
While not a movie I really enjoyed Farscape. It had pretty high production values.
Here are some SciFi I enjoyed (trying to stay away for the major releases/hits):
City of Lost Children
Pitch Black
Existenz
Frank Herbert's Dune
Cube

Stargate
I could watch it over and over again, and never get bored of it. To bad the tv show ruined the story line. Well, the first couple season's were alright, but it went downhill pretty quick.
Although I haven't seen it in years, Flight of the Navigator was pretty good. It comes out on dvd in a couple weeks.

Off the top of my head, Star Wars and Pitch Black. I love Sci Fi too so I like many others.
Stargate the TV series is considered better than the movie which was pretty mediocre. And oddly I and most think the series got BETTER after the first 2 seasons..especially the first which except for the pilot and the few at the end were very weak.• Apexware Hosting Solutions
