I playing with the idea of lunching a VOIP company with ISP'S and web hosting customers as the primary focus. Question one. Would you use a small start-up over vonage or packet 8? Question two. What would you want to pay a mouth to use this service. We plan on having voice mail MOH Prompts auto messages(network status). Next question many many of you use VOIP now and if so who? Thanks for taking the time to read this.
FWD is a closed system. in other words you can only call other FWD users or 1800 numbers. FWD does not make it easy to receive calls from the PSTN. To get into the FWD system from a land line / Cell phone for would call a gateway. Dial a wired code like #85453 then the FWD number how many customers are going to do that? We will offer DID numbers in other words you can call 222-222-2222 instead of 222-222-2222+#85453+123456
And we will offer 1800 numbers too.
Yes FWD is a great system. But there are limits too. i will read more into FWD before i say anymore. FWD is a great system for end users not businesses. i do have a FWD account. but FWD does not offer more then one VM account per number. FWD as far as i know does not have DID. in other words a number that only goes to your FWD account. Correct me if im wrong. are network will be interconnected to the FWD network.
and we will offer.
PSTN to VOIP destination
PSTN termination of a VOIP initiated call
as you asked.
and thanksfor your feedback
I don't think FWD offer PSTN links, but leave that to 3rd parties.
Not knowing other countries phone revenue models, so this may be possible in your country... Many UK companies operate on a call share revenue basis and there's a complete market in revenue share of non-geographical numbers.
A single number that you could direct to your VOIP provider of choice might be a good idea.
