LP Albums
My daughter discovered my stash of albums this past weekend and was completey shocked that
a) I owned any at all
b) I was old enough (apparently people only used records on Happy Days)
c) the dizzying variety of 60s, Jazz, Rockabilly, and 80s music available.
Just wondered how many WHTers had records(45s, LP, EP, etc)

We had a collection of my grandad's old 78's until fairly recently, you could do someone a serious injury with those!!

I'm not "wise and experienced" enough to have enjoyed those times , when I started buying music is was all about cassettes, then CDs. My parents have quite a collection of old records though.

I had to vote for the first three.
I have LPs, 8-tracks, reel-to-reel, 45s, and 78s. I have a 78 recorder. I also have a wire recorder.
Of course, I have cassettes and CDs too. There is no best host. There is only the host that's best for you.

i used to have a huge stack of 45s that my Uncle gave me when i was a teen... they added to my album collection. Then i had a small 8-track collection... then cassettes. i cant afford the CDs these days, my kids are collecting those, but i still have a few albums and cassettes!

I still buy vinyl, both old stuff and new stuff... and have probably 400 albums and EPs on hand.

Had quite a few records, ranging from classical to tango and disco. I donated some of them to Phonetic Museum (sounds strange, I know ) and kept most of the classical music ones. I'm now left with about 200 of them and I play them about twice a year...

None of the above? I'm too young to remember any of that, but I'm not clueless.

I used to have quite a few (and casettes) back in the 80's, but got rid of everything when CD came along. Same thing with VHS.. all replaced by DVD now.
