Carrier Center (600 W 7th in Los Angeles)

Now through the end of the month [5/30/2004] we will be selling cage space & power at 600 W. 7th in Los Angeles. This is the third floor of the building.

Here are the details in no particular order:

    1) Minimum sold is 10' x 10' cage. This will include 100 amps of power as well. Consider it roughly as 1amp / sq foot.
    2) Minimum 1 yr commitment. Additional discounts can be had for multi-year commitments.
    3) We will provide cross connects into Equinix, Los Angeles (6th floor) for $200 / month. This will give you access to the provider of your choice. 100mbps and 10mbps cross connects only for right now (if you have different needs, please let us know and we will see what we can arrange for you).
    4) We can also provide cross connects for the same rate into the MMR (5th floor).
    5) For (maybe) slightly higher charges we can provide cross connects in to One Wilshire, 530 W 6th, 1200 W 7th, and a number of other facilities.
    6) We also have our own high quality bandwidth product that can be sold to you as well instead of getting your own product.
    7) We will only sell another 3000 sq. feet.
    8) $13 / sq. foot
    9) This is a telco-colo environment. You will have to arrange with us to see what setup you would like the cages in and set up fees will vary depending on what you request.
    10) Cabinets only, changes in power (e.g. 2 x 30amps instead of 3 x 20amps, etc.) can be accomodated.

If you have any questions, please contact at [email protected]

    Thank you for your time.

    bandwidth providers...

As mentioned previously, you have the choice to cross connect to any of the IP providers in Equinix or any of the other MMR we have a presence in.

For our bandwidth, our transit is currently utilizing Savvis [AS3561], Level 3 [AS3356], XO [AS2828]. We should be adding Global Crossing as well in the next couple of days. We also maintain quite a number of peering relationships with other carriers. We should be at 50+ peers in the next couple of months. Our backbone currently runs from Los Angeles to Dallas to Richmond. It should extend up to Northern California, Chicago, New Jersey and Ashburn (this is the last one as it is one of the most expensive links) in a few months as well.
