Stinger's a pretty decent tool, We used it to disinfect a local office. It'll kill it with no problem whatsoever.

Just to let people know, Stinger is McAfee's standalone antivirus scanner. It doesn't offer realtime protection like a regular AV program will, but can be used to clean up after you have something.

    It's here: vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/

Kind of funny that the warning says it wants you to follow a link...after it says it won't let you connect until you disinfect, by following a link it won't let you connect to until you disinfect...
    *ow*
    Now I've broken something.

My school has a system similar to this in the dorms. They find infected people and shut off their ports, allowing them to only get to an internal page where they can download norton and all the fixit tools.

Nope As I know that in my city that'll soon be a scarey reality (although it'll be used for storing a personal 'id card' thing!)

My keyring's a Sony Microvault so I win on style.

Seriously though Stinger can be a godsend when it's needed. Another good reason to hug your McAfee products daily.
