Hi! I just got this new domain, a .love an not able to get work at ev1.net, how can I host? Can I on ev1.net, was told they do not do new tld's. Where is best deal for hosting? What options do I have? Why is dot love not like .tv ? When will it not be new anymore so we not have this problem? Thanks, humour and more welcome!

Who did you register it with? I can't find .love on ICANN's list.

Im pretty sure you can host the domain on any ev1 server, and I doubt it has anything to do with ev1s network. As long as you setup the Nameservers properly at the registrar and setup the domain correctly on the server, you should be fine.

I wonder how they are going to police through all the domain registrations with the new extensions. =)Sang P. Ma

ooh, Take a look at this.
I clicked on the info button at registerfly.
Taken directly from the registerfly.com website:
.agent, .arts, .auction, .chat, .church, .club, .family, .free, .game, .golf, .inc, .kids, .law, .llc, .llp, .love, .ltd, .med, .mp3, .school, .scifi, .shop, .soc, .sport, .tech, .travel, .video, .xxx
Access to these new domain names is currently available to internet users via one of several partner ISPs and users who have activated their browser with a simple to install plug-in software application. The number of internet users who have access to these new domains is growing rapidly. It already exceeds more than 180,710,501 users world-wide.

Do they let you change nameservers with those domains?

Look at this:
http://www.registerfly.com/info/new.net.php
Seems to me they are not real top level domains.
Interestingly, these domains work on my computer without any plug-ins.
.agent, .arts, .auction, .chat, .church, .club, .family, .free, .game, .golf, .inc, .kids, .law, .llc, .llp, .love, .ltd, .med, .mp3, .school, .scifi, .shop, .soc, .sport, .tech, .travel, .video, .xxx

Personally I won't buy a domain that cannot work on EVERY connected computers....

These aren't TLD's and the idea is nothing new.
I wouldn't have one unless my target audience was very very focused and had access to these pseudo-domain names.
