Datacenters/Colo in St. Louis, MO (/IL Bi-State) Area
Can anyone recommend any decent colocation providers in the St. Louis, MO (or MO-IL bi-state area)? I've checked with CyberCon and they want an arm and a leg, and Xiolink also does for their bandwidth (as much as $5/GB!). If someone could please recommend any datacenters a little more decent in price please let me know. I am looking for only 2-6U to start off with.
Cheers,

Contact Xiolink directly, I'm sure they aren't 5 bux a gig. You can also try direcnap on this board, i believe he have some setup in St.Louis.

I did contact Xiolink directly. I was quoted the following:
$5/GB for 1-9 GB usage per month
$4/GB for 10-99GB
$3/GB for 100+
or $325 for 1Mbps
It seems quite pricey. Actual colocation pricing was $49.95/U/mo (for Xiolink). And I'm going to spare CyberCon the embarrassment and not even think about what they quoted me.

That pricing isn't bad, seems quite reasonable.

XO have a telco colo facility up at Mary Heights (I think it is also their NOC) if you don't need any support what so ever, then you should try them. I heard they're 150/meg or so on smaller commits.

Well, I don't know what is your an Arm and a Leg.
I colocated one of my client's servers with Cybercon.com
I pay $198 a month, I get: 100GB data transfer and 32 IPs.
It is a tower server with dual power supplies and dual network cards (one is for network management). I think the price is fair.
As a network engineer, I like Cybercon network. You get 4 providers from one data center: UUNET, ATT, Level 3 and Qwest.Network Guru

I was quoted about $100/mo more than that from CyberCon for 2U space and 100GB bandwidth.
