well, just make it .com, .net, .org.
I'd say maximum $14.95 here.
$35 is way too much. All the orders end up at the same place, so why pay so much?

Last time I paid about 17 euros... to a Godaddy (WWD) local reseller. That's kind of enough for me.

I have always used NameCheap to register my domains, and currently pay $8.88/year for them and am happy. I know I can get it cheaper, like, $6.49 or something with EV1, but I've always been happy with NameCheap and would pay $50/year if that's what they wanted.

I pay $7.99.
The maximum I would pay for any domain would be $10, if I really wanted and the person wouldnt go any lower.Don't like what I say? Ignore me.

The most I ever paid was $25 for therealms.net, my first ever domain purchase, then I found out abot Dotster.com and have been paying $14.95 (or less) ever since.

What do I pay to register? $6.95
Why in the world would anyone pay $35 to register a .com?

Well there is one domain I am after for something and would pay the $1800 asking price for it. But I won't be saying what it is.
Hopefully will pick it up later in the year if all goes well.
It all depends on the benefit from it. This particular one is beneficial to something we are doing, but would not be worth much to most folks.http://www.monstersandcritics.com - News & Reviews

I usually register or transfer my domains to 000domains.com. Its more expensive then most registrars, but I just like them. If they don't lower the price soon though, I might move out. When you got a lot of domains, the extra cost adds up.

When I was 10 1/2, I thought all domains were $20, so I payed $20 directly from Verio, then $35 from NetSol. Then I found GoDaddy

I will NEVER register any domains at godaddy. The only reason I would ever get a domain registered with them is if they're succesful at acquiring a domain for me with their backorder system, which is very doubtful since they suck at that.
godaddy has lost many peoples domains. Sometimes that low price just isn't worth it.

Register a new domain = no more than $10 (though I currently only pay $7).
Purchase a domain on the aftermarket = the only limit is my bank account and how bad I want it.
