The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Great score, amazing cinimatography, funny dialogue and a little tragic.

Re: Your favorite Movie and WHY?

    Top Gun
I just loved this movie, I was 10 I think when I first watched it and I loved fighter jets.

    Robocop
Same as Top Gun, I liked the futuristic concept of cyborgs...

    Star Trek - First Contact
I used to hate star trek when I was younger, I think it's because I didn't really understand the story. But now I'm a big fan of Star Trek and I can say First Contact is one of the best star trek movies I've seen.

I can't say all of these are the greatest movies of all times but they certainly stick in my head and will for a long time to come.

The Shawshank Redemption - great story telling + plot + acting
The Matrix - for the paradigm shift
    Matchstick Men - great acting
The Thomas Crown Affair - creativity
    Amélie - foreign/romance story

I don't know why, but I've always liked Terminator 2 - never get tired of it. In fact, after each semester in university and when all the exams and projects are over, my favourite part is when I sit down on the couch with snacks and the Terminator 2 DVD playing on my TV

I can tell someone likes mob movies. Who doesn't? Good Fellas and The Godfather (1 and 2, sorry but 3 just plain sucked) are classics.

    My other favorites are:

    1) LOTR (ALL of em - fascinating special effects, story, mediocre acting but it is overridden by the other positives)
    2) The Matrix (classic special effects, story, etc.; the first one was awesome, the second was just plain okay, and the third just SUCKED)
    3) Office Space (previously mentioned, what a hilarious movie)
    4) Caddyshack (the original from the 70's... ahh... )
    5) Finding Nemo (favorite animated film)
    6) The Big Lebowski (hahaha, makes me laugh now)
    7) Banana(s) (the Woody Allen movie, what a classic)

MANY, many others, but somehow my mind is cloudy at the moment.

    In no particular order,

The Maltese Falcon (Bogey--and check out the camera work!)
    A Clockwork Orange
    The Godfather and II
    The Hustler (Gleason is terrific)
    Strangers on a Train
    Vertigo (Hitchcock's best?)
    The Philadelphia Story (dialog)
Yojimbo (Kurosawa classic "inspired" Eastwood/Fistful of Dollars)
Seven Samurai (Kurosawa's flick later shows up as The Magnificent Seven)
    Rashomon
    High Noon
    Annie Hall (favorite Woody Allen)

The most emotional movie: Walk to Remember.
Why? Because when I watched that movie I was in a fight with my dad, and I bursted into tears when I saw the boy hugging and crying with his dad.

Second most emotional is Armageddon. I love that movie.
Best part: When the girl cries for knowing that her dad will die.

I -adore- Rush Hour 1 & 2. Chris along with Jacki are a good couple

Of course there are a lot of comedy movies I enjoy watching but those four movies happen to constantly stick on my mind.

    That's it!

In no particular order, a rough guess at my top ten:

    Boondock Saints
    Alien
    A Clockwork Orange
    Office Space
    Shawshank Redemption
    Swordfish
    The Usual Suspects
    Donnie Darko
    Pulp Fiction
    Super Troopers
It's time to kick back, pop in a From Autumn to Ashes CD, and relax.....

Hmm some of the movies I don't mind watching over and over:

    Godfather 1&2
    Lord of the Rings
    Star Trek 2
the Good the Bad and the Ugly
Triple X (I felt stupid typing xXx)
    X-Men 1&2
    Army of Darkness
    the Exorcist
    Halloween
    Salem's Lot
    Nightmare on Elm Street
    Airplane
Harry Potter 1 & 2 (and I'll bet money 3 will join this list too)

There's not many movies I'll sit through twice mainly because I hate to waste time watching a rerun when there are so many good movies I've never seen.
