    Javascript Ticker problem

I have a javascript ticker.. There's no really problem getting the ticker to show the text on the site, however when entering the site the ticker text loads in the upper left corner with some blue text.
This slows down the site, when entering any pages.

Why is it preloading the ticker in the upper left corner? And is it possible to "disable" it doing that ?

I didn't get your upper left corner effect on my browsers. Mozilla 1.7b and IE 6.

You ticker didn't work for me on Mozilla. It just got stuck at Initializing....

Mozilla reported the following errors :
Error: finished is not defined Line : 16
Error: document.tickertape has no properties Line : 194
Worked fine on IE though (no suprise there).

Might want to spell check : GENEREL.
