Bah, who needs to go into a bank anymore? They have these cool little machines outside that spit out money.

I don't know of any around here that are open Sundays.

Not open on Sunday here, and I'm in a major city.

For that matter, our banks will close if it's a cloudy day, or one of their employees has gas.

Some are open in KC...primarily the ones in Wal-Mart Supercenters and a few grocery stores.

I don't know of any "stand alone" branches that are open on Sunday's however.

Bah you guys are lucky about having banks open on sundays... Huntington banks are open like 9:00 to 5:30 week days, and 9:30 to 12:00 on saturdays... it really stinks.

If you mean physically open, it varies by location.

However, if you mean are transactions posted, wires made, etc., then the answer is no. All weekend transactions with the Federal Reserve are made on Monday night.

I think it really depends on the bank... BB&T isn't open here in Northern Virginia.

Yep, I know of a couple banks, mostly in "super stores" that have tellers available but since the Federal Reserve isn't open it doesn't count as a "banking day" and all inter-bank transactions won't be available until Monday at the earliest. Some banks will process same bank transactions or some give immediate credit for deposits. It depends on the bank and accounts.

Most of the banks that are in grocery stores here in Arizona are open limited hours on Sunday.
