are you looking to do this for posting news or something?
If so you just save the news in a text file and then i frame it.

If not i'm sure all its doing is
making a form with a box,
importing the lines from a text file
when they click save it re-writes the text file
    and ther you have it.

    pretty easy to code too

Try looking for a Wiki ... there are various ones available for most languages.

umm i wasnt trying to make a temporary file. i wanted to make an online scribble pad where i can store messages. then i can acess the textbox from a different comp so i can edit, add, or review the message i saved. just go to this link to try it out.

and put the files in this zip in your site to try it out.
