Our President does it-- yet again

You could guess this was coming...

"Bush Suffers Cuts, Bruises While Biking "

    http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...d=544&ncid=716

Previously, he has fallen off of a Segway, choked on a pretzel and only his imagination is the limit to what more may be coming

Isn't it impossible to fall off of a segway? I thought that was what made them cool, they can't tip over? O_o

Its pretty funny, a little kid will fall off a bike and no one cares - our president does it and its all over the news

Yeah I know but the guy fell off of a bike, its not like someone tried to kill him; people who are just as well-known fall off their bikes and other things all the time, but the media doesn't go crazy over it (Granted, he IS the president - but so what if he got a few scratches...)

" Bush was wearing his bike helmet and a mouth guard when the mishap occurred"

wtf wears a mouthguard to go bicycle riding?

I don't believe that pretzel story for a minute either. I bet he's into cage fighting or something in his spare time. He always seem to turn up with cuts and bruises with some stupid story to explain them away. It'll be 'oh..I bumped into a door' next.

President Bush fell today, ladies and gentlemen. Here is the CNN news report.

The silliest news story of the day. Tomorrow, we'll hear about his progress as he recovers from this fatal incident.

First 'nice' comment I've seen you make about GWB.

Appearantly the thread starter and the writer of the article has never fallen off a bike...

I've seen a lot of 'professional' bicyclists with mouthgaurds. Would kind of suck to smash in the ground and bite your tounge off wouldn't it?

Something you should understand about me is that I'm a REAL Democratic, I don't attack the opposite team (Reps) because they are Republican. If Bush does a good job, I applaude him, otherwise, I don't.

This is a lame excuse to make President Bush look like an idiot and it's dumb and a waste of time.

And the mouth piece thing, I'm glad he was wearing it. What if there was an accident and he did get injuried, protection first.

No ofcourse not. I wouldn't do a thing like that or I might end up getting myself branded with a ford logo or something (if webdude is to believed anyway)

I'm not into cage fighting at all, but I'd actually pay good money to watch that.

I am sorry if you don't find any humor in this. Surely the intention of this thread was not to start a Bush-bashing thread or any discussion of that nature

If indeed the goal was to point out the President's stupidity, I would have been little more selective and chosen an article with more substance(not hard to find these days).

Webdude uses the 'branding through the pants' method.

Actually, no, 17 miles isn't that hard. I sit at my computer a lot, but me and my friends usually bike 4-5 times a week, for at least 6-8 hours a time.

That'll be why there just happened to be a doctor present and he had a mouthguard (which other sport does that remind you of). I'm telling ya - it'll be "secret service forrest boxing" or something.
