I received a logo that completely ignored my instructions as to colors, size, shape, format, etc.
I was accused of being "rude" when I tried to have it fixed. Got a refund instead.
If you are lucky enough to get a logo, you had better be happy with the first draft or be prepared to kiss some serious a** to get it fixed. Type slowly because colors and shapes seem to be tricky.
Actually, the logo you received matched your instructions as I understood them, and the colors matched exactly as you provided them to me, and they were copied and pasted.
Your size specifications were "Fit it inside of the dimensions of this box" which I took to mean, as a standard description, that you needed a logo that fit neatly within the box provided.
Of course this was not the case, and you DID become rude, when you had to explain it more than the first time. You made some comments about my professionalism, and not being able to follow instructions (although I did follow them as I understood them). You also became angry because your "DRAFT" was a raster file, and then you did not receive a vector format (of which you NEVER requested)
After which, I decided to refund you rather than deal with your attitude, when I had other client logos that I needed to complete.
You apparently have an urge, and are compelled to continue arguing this matter, as you do so every chance you get. I did however notice that you tend to leave out, just how rude you were with me, with no due cause, other than having to explain your instructions a little clearer. You have to understand that YOU knew exactly what you mean, because it was YOUR instruction. However the written word does not always portray the meaning they are intended to. This is why I carefully word my written communication, rather than blow up at the person on the other end, for not understanding what I mean.
AND as far as that other thread is concerned, you definately can see how other people fared. They either received a logo or a refund...geee how dishonest of me.
I asked actnow to write to the address provided earlier, and just for the record, I still have not received that email, although I now have the email forwarding to my personal account to be sure I get them while at home.
You are just starting trouble. I've sent Mark about 3-4 requests for modifications each time he sent me a finish draft and they were all completed within the day. Multiply these results times three or more.
Results are proven. Next time you write your review, speak for yourself because if you do otherwise, you could damage Mark's reputation.. and there are laws against that sort of stuff.
Best of luck to you, actnow.

I am sorry if you feel that way, but actnow asked for an opinion. That's what people do on message boards. They share opinions. I have had a negative experience with the party in question.

I requested: "Since the color scheme is steel blue, I'm thinking a logo with nice contrasting yellow would be good"
I got Lime Green

I requested: "fit into a 16 wide x 9 high aspect ratio (like an HD TV)"
I got an almost square logo that you sure could fit into a 16x9 box, it just happened to leave 30% of the box empty.
