Sorry about missing the previous post on the 22nd - I don't know how I missed it. On the 22nd, the server you are placed on (Phoenix) had it's Apache recompiled and optimized. During this, we lost connections to our mySQL database, and had some minor errors within Apache. Everything was back to normal in under 40 minutes. Today, the 29th, the server you are on (Phoenix) was experiencing high server loads - forcing the server to shutdown. httpd (HTTP Server Application on our servers) consumed all memory for the server, causing this shutdown. The server was then restarted 20 minutes later. We will be taking steps shortly to prevent such Memory Shortages on this server from happening in the future. When these steps are set into place, you will be sure to receive client communication regarding this. Thank you for choosing CybexHost.

I have found this:
www DOT siteuptime.com/statistics.php?I...52&&UserId=4900
99.1% uptime only? That means each month will have at least 7 hours downtime? It's really bad for me though
They have an average response time of 1.684 sec. That's really slow! Wondering what servers they are using...

hostnuts,
The URL you listed (inappropriately since you do not have enough posts) does not even work for an uptime report.
Our servers are housed in The Planet datacenter, in Dallas, Texas. The Planet has been adding many additional Gig-E connections lately, bringing network fiber count to 12Gbps. This requires router cycling, bringing the entire network down for about 10-15 minutes.
Also, those Site Uptime Statistics are false - as we no longer use that server for clients. Our servers for clients are Pentium 4 2.8Ghz, for the record. Also, looks to me as if you are not a client of ours anyway hostnuts.
Here are ping statisctics from my location in Pennsylvania, USA to one of our servers at ThePlanet (a great deal better than 1.684s )
Pinging cybexhost.com [69.93.35.170] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 69.93.35.170: bytes=32 time=47ms TTL=53
Reply from 69.93.35.170: bytes=32 time=46ms TTL=53
Reply from 69.93.35.170: bytes=32 time=46ms TTL=53
Reply from 69.93.35.170: bytes=32 time=46ms TTL=53
Ping statistics for 69.93.35.170:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 46ms, Maximum = 47ms, Average = 46msLast edited by CybexHost; 06-08-2004 at 03:05 PM.

Our site www.mizraabianz.com has been down for like a whole day now. All the new posts at our forum after 29th were missing. We have been facing this problem with Cybexhost for sometime now. For the past four five days we haven’t been able to send any email to a HOTMAIL/YAHOO account from our site. The Admin at Cybexhost has been nice in the past and we never had problems as such regarding the down time of our site but now it’s getting worse. We have regular 100's of visitors on our site daily and now we are still waiting for our site to come back online.
Secondly Cybexhost has been expensive as compared to different other hosting’s but we thought that Cybexhost is giving us quality and that’s why we never bothered thinking about changing our host but now we really want to change our host now.
check this aint working: http://forum.mizraabianz.com not even the site.

We were forced to undergo a rather hasty server migration due to a disk error and successfully transferred quite a few accounts at odd hours.
I apologize for the inconvenience. Feel free to PM me on these forums directly with more specific questions.

Do you not announce these things to your clients?
Disk failures, memory leakages and such should all be announced and notified to your clients. It would stop threads such as this becoming a cybexhost helpdesk.
