Looking for Advertising Partner for PingZine Magazine

    Hello,

I am thinking of advertising in the PingZine (http://pingzine.com/), due to the high pricing (see image). I was thinking that I could partner up with some of the people here and purchase a FULL page in the magazine, then divide it into 4 sections.

The cost for 1 full page is: $2940.00 (US$).
Divided by 4 each section would cost: $735.00
Compared to the PingZine cost of $840.00

This is a saving of $105.00

I would like to make something from this so, if anyone is interested the cost would be $740.00 (I will make a whole, $15.00 on the sale of the 3 sections).

Thus the savings will be $100.00 (US$)
I will only require 1/4 of the advertising space.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

OR instead of 1 page, 1/2 can also be done:

The cost for 1 full page is: $1650.00 (US$).
Divided by 2 each section would cost: $825.00
Compared to the PingZine cost of $840.00

    Saving: $15.00
Its not worth makeing anything on the 1/2 page setup.

I will only require 1/2 of the 1/2 page advertising space.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

If anyone is interested please PM me.

Are your referring to the pricing in the image attached to the post?

Why would you have three other web hosting companies advertise right next to yours??????

Sure but look at where he's looking for ad partners.

The ad will be divided and appear to look like seperate ads. The PingZine mag, also places web hosting companies beside each other.

My site is not for a hosting service, but instead for my site featuring a web hosting directory.

About a year and a half ago something similar was attempted. I participated in that campaign and it turned out OK. But the $ amount was considerably less.

    Thank you vito.

I have reviewed the http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showth...threadid=77922 thread and noticed that you were using the HostingTech mag. I understand that HostingTech was purchased by iNET Interactive (same company that purchase this forum). I do not know what happened to the mag but I can not find any information on advertising on it.

I used to have a contact over there but that email address doesn't work anymore.

Please keep me updated if you come across any other hosting mags.

    Thanks!!

Hosting Tech closed down some time ago. Then when Headsurfer (Rackshack/EV1) bought WHT, he also bought Hosting Tech. But never did anything with it. Now iNet owns it, but it's still not back in print.

The only other mag I know of is a new one by Tophosts. it's only a month or two old. But the rates are very high.

I run a full page ad in PingZine every month. Well worth the investment.

I can view it with a problem.
I was able to view it on another system without logging in....therefore should be no problem anyone else viewing it.

I did look at TopHosts.com and ya the prices are very high. The other one is TheWHIR, also way too high.

HostingTECH was one of the better mags in my opinion.
Which issue did you advertise in PingZine?
    I have:

    Volume 1 Issue 4
    Volume 2 Issue 1
    Volume 2 Issue 2

Just wondering if your in any of those?

Since your return on investment was "well worth" it, would you consider it again as a partner in anything I have outlined above?

I'm in all of those issues. I started off with 1/2 page for a couple of issues, and have been running full page for the last few months.

Sorry, I would not be interested in partnering in any co-operative ads in PingZine because I plan on full page ads on my own every month.

It seems to me that if you're going to go with print advertising, you should go 12-months at a time to make it with your while. The bulk discounts are huge.

I don't believe theres anything wrong with posting Ping Zine's pricing, but you're not allowed to have more than two URLs in your signature (last I checked?).

On the other hand, if someone wanted to go in 2 - 4 ways on a 12-month run, that would be something i'd be interested in talking about personally.

The cost for 1 full page is: $2940.00 (US$) for Ping zine

TopHosts has a special for only $2500 for a full page ad so the price is not that high.

I already emailed Jon Landry, but did not get a reply as of yet regarding a rate card and sizes as such.

TopHosts, is a web hosting directory, I will be advertising my own hosting directory....will this be allowed?

PS> Can I resell space as I have hinted at in this thread?

    Please email webmasterATwebpromo-inc.com

    Thanks!
