    Forward location...

    I'm trying to find out how to forward a location on the server to a new location.

    For example:

    When going to: http://lilhangout.net - it quickly takes you to http://lilhangout.net/info/html/ - now I know you can do this in an index file to refresh after so many seconds, but this site seems to be doing it instantly. Is this just meta-refresh at work or some other server setting?

    Why bother messing with Meta redirects? Just do a PHP script with header() and it's instantaneous. With a meta refresh, it still has to load that page and then redirects.

    And just for your information as no one has really got it done for you.

    PHP Code:
    <?php

    header
    ("Location: http://lilhangout.net/info/html/");
    exit();

    ?>
