Lost URL - site talks about a guy who deposits a fake check and bank accepts it
There was a site I stumbled across at one point, and I am trying to locate it again.
It's a long story about a guy who deposits a 'fake' check with his bank (one of those promotional type checks). The bank accepts the check as being real, then the guy attempts to return the money, but the bank makes it hard for him.
Anyone know the story I am talking about? It was a very humerous read, and I'd really like to read it again.

I haven't seen much of his earlier work, but I have been told there's a couple of good films in there somewhere.
Any recommendations for his teen work, Artashes?
didnt like the beach that much myself... but he did do a great movie where he plays a drug addict that tells his story on stage. forgot the name.

One path leads to despair and utter hopelessness, the other to total extinction.

No, I thought that too. I read somewhere in the site that he had paid to have it all professionally edited, so I guess he did that when he put up this new site once he started getting lots of traffic to the old one.
Had he not returned the money, I can't forsee him being able to keep it regardless. As former bank management myself, having a considerable amount of experience in issues of fraud, I can safely say that a lot of what goes into a case is intent regardless of whether or not the issue at hand is true fraud.
