Have a question about WHT forum's work

Hello all

2 months ago i open new topic. after that i forgot about it (there are some answers to my request) and now when i need to continue this talk i don't open any new topic, but find my last topic and wrote there.

i know that in PHPbb or vbulletin when u wrote in old topic, it's goes up in that section and all users can view it. but here i think it's don't happen.

what do u think is it right ? or i need to open new topic to post it once again (for example i need to change something in old post and want that it can view lot of users). i think it's not a secret that 99% users check only new topics.

or may be i'm wrong ?

thx

Please don't bring old dead threads back to life.

Please just start a new thread.

Threads in the advertising forums don't come to the top when you reply

No problem

FYI: Some people will get annoyed when others bring dead threads back to life (especially if they are over a month or so old).

If that's the case, all threads should auto-lock after x days and there wouldn't be an issue. Personally I find it more useful to discuss a toipic in one place many times than have to look through 8 threads, but there are times when the information is just outdated and a new topic is better.
