Live Chat Software
Hi there,
I am looking for a Live Chat solution. However I am not looking for a PHP Based one.
I would prefer something with an .EXE so I can log into the system directly using it instead of use a browser.
I checked a few already, but the most of good ones out there ask very expensive fees.
Anyone has an idea?

Check out PHP Live! - I use it and it's great. There is a Windows GUI available for it although I can't comment on it, I don't use it, since I have a mac.

It is rather expensive, however I downloaded the free trial and had to buy it after that. If you don't want to pay the full fee, maybe consider a yearly license? I am not sure if you can get Premium version yearly though, and it has some nice features over the regular

Check out BoldChat.com they offer a free basic service then if you require more features you can upgrade. I use the free feature and works great.

Hello there,
You may want to check out hotscripts.com, they have some very nice Live Chat programs, you may also like to check download.com they should have what you are looking for.
I used to use a program called Typical Live Chat, search google for it. It is a must! Oh, it is free aswell.
Good luck.

I'm buying Live Help next week Looks twice as "spiffy" as PHPLive! and looks as if it will work better for us. You just saved me a good bit of money.

Just fo the record, the following chat programs use an installable, standalone monitoring console.
• http://www.instahelp.biz has most of the LivePerson features (including visitor history) and costs $10/mo
• http://www.BoldChat.com is also similar to LivePerson and costs $40/mo. However, it does not have visitor history
• http://www.eliveservice.com This is free, you have to pay to remove their link

PHPLiveSupport from OSI Codes is a good solution. We bought the open source version and it has worked well for us.

I am not satisfied at all, and tried to ask a refund; however no one answers. I am calling my bank so they can lock the money out.
It takes like 100CPU to run the application and the admin page (full of flash actionscript that makes you go really slow).
I am on AMD Athlon 1.8ghz 768DDR. I just wonder how to run that sh*t with a celeron.
Will check out the others!

Update: They answered me and asked for some info in order to verify where the problem is.
I will keep you up to date.
webpromo: I rarely think FREE is an option. Not good for your clients to know, at least.

I used PHP Live Helper for a year, it's good software for $99.99. My support expired this year so I started searching for alternatives before renewing support for another year at $99.99.
I found Help Center Live, the PHP software is free, they have a windows app for $30. HCL has Live Chat, FAQ Manager and Trouble Tickets in one package. I decided to replace PHP Live Helper with HCL on my site.
