For CPM banners, BurstMedia, FastClick and TribalFusion. For text, there's Clicksor.com by ***** but it's still slow and a bit buggy to use.

Adsense is great, but i do NOT like their recent image ads that they have added. They made there name bucking the trend with the text ads and now they risk turning into any joe blocks adserver.

Except that showing image ads is optional, that they still pay out on CPC not CPM, and that nobody's images are going to show unless they have higher CTR than their text ads, as has always been how Google's smart serving has worked.

We have been using google's ad-sense for some time now, and it seems to be working great! But from what I have read, if you are going to go the ad-sense route, to do it right, you will need a fairly good sized budget.

wiwebhost, you're confused. This thread is about AdSense and AzoogleAds, which pay webmasters, not AdWords, where you pay Google.

Does the M stand for something else, or is it just a Roman Numeral?

Cost Per Mille, which is the root for thousand.
