It could be 100+ things
I have double checked and chmod'ed the permissions as told on their site. The script is provided free at http://www.cyberscript.net/products/easyhost_free/ , I believe it shouldn't containt any errors. How do I execute the script through the command line? Thanks alot for your help

Make sure you upload the file in ASCII mode when you use your FTP client.
If you uploaded it in binary mode or edited it via command line it wont work.
Try deleting and then re-upload in FTP via ASCII, then CHMOD to 755.
In my error log I get:
[Mon May 17 18:35:06 2004] [error] [client 188.8.131.52] File does not exist: /home/free/public_html/500.shtml
[Mon May 17 18:35:06 2004] [error] [client 184.108.40.206] Premature end of script headers: /home/free/public_html/cgi-bin/easyhost.cgi
What does this error mean?
I'm pretty sure I uploaded the script via ASCII with ws_ftp. But I'll try it again Thanks for the help
You usually get the premature end of script headers error because there is either a problem with the coding or you didnt upload it properly.
If you upload a CGI in binary that is the error you will get.
Re-upload and make sure your using ASCII and let me know if you still get that error.
Like nickn said, it could be a number of reasons, which is one reason why I prefer PHP over Perl. Perl isnt very good at letting you know whats wrong.
Hmm, I've reuploaded it in both in smartftp, and ws_ftp twice double checking to see its in ACSII mode, but the problem persists. I actually do prefer PHP over Perl since its way easier to use. Will anyone be willing to help me out with the installation? I'll be happy to compensate the work if wanted Thanks alot
