realestate MLS feed - how?
I have a client (a realtor) that would to post listings on his website from the MLS system (multiple listing system).
Does anyone have any experience in this? I assume you need a MLS hookup somehow - does anyone have any clues on this?
I know its probably involved, but I've seen realtors that have their properties online, so perhaps its possible somehow?
I think your real estate client needs to contact their local board, since the use of these listings are governed by them; it's not something that's legally available to the general public.
And MLS is not a single database. Each local Real Estate board has their own with network connections to other boards.
I was hoping there was a one-stop place - like realtor.com where you could buy your way into a feed. I have a few clients so a scaleable solution wouldnt hurt.
I think this is about as close you can get get:
Inteesting! Any one know of resources with general MLS info? How the whole thing is structured, the local MLS's etc?
http://www.open-realty.org/ - sorry, I was trying to find that site earlier - just had to call a buddy of mine to find out what the anem of the site was. There is a forum on there - you will probably be able to get a lot more help there.
