I like your style and use of colors. If you were to go 100% flash, I think the only way to update it all the time would be to use (I think?) dynamic text being called from a .txt file that you could update (as far as content goes) but for artwork/pics, that could be time consuming. But putting together a great portfolio in flash always is!
If you want to get around that though, you could just bump the nav. buttons on the bottom completely since that nav. button on the upper left will be used. Make that whole top be a flash animation for your site nav. and embed it at the top of your html pages. So then all you'd have to do is update the html files and not the flash!?!
Hey thanks a lof for your sugestions (and compliment). Really much appreciated man... i thought nobody helped me yet.
I thought do it like you said , html with flash header and buttoms (really i already did another previuos version) but i take it like a exercise (im learning flash ), im a newbie using it. Maybe you know some tutorial to learn to do whole (not complex) websites?

Not enough anyway. So by all means Azn_Chic, tell your friends to come on down to WHT.
sergiosuanez, I know you are just learning flash, but your illustrations and hand drawn/colored graphics are always impressive. I look forward to seeing your entire portfolio finished, whether flash or not.
Well done on the character. I personally would put the navigation at the top, might help to be less confusing to visitors.
As for the flash, I would suggest storing all of your website content that you will need to update in an XML document and importing it when the movie loads. This way, you can store content for each page in a seperate xml tag and every time you want to edit your site, you only have to edit one single XML document and you're done. If you're planning on having large amounts of content, you might think about splitting up the content into seperate xml documents.
Oh well...enough of my ramblings. Good work man, keep it up.
Ok, Marque thanks for your idea... i think it sound really logic but i have a big problem... What is XML? (no joke) I dont know nothing about ASP, XML, PHP... i only have knowledge about psd, eps, fh11, you know.
Do you know some website with examples to do it in this way?
It would be really appreciated, anyway thanks a lot for your reply i will looking for tutorials to learn a bit about it.
Well XML is a markup language similar to html except for the fact that you can define your own tags, as well as other things as well. I dont want to throw you too far from the wagon so I wont go into it too deep. Basically, if you know HTML, you can pick up XML very easily in literally no time at all.
Its a forum/tutorial site for flash and actionscripters to come together and help each other out. If you're going to start somewhere with flash, thats probably one of the best places to do so, since there will be plenty of people around to help you out.
Designing is great, and I totally love it. But I also love coding as well. Just remember that design comes from the use of imagination, while coding/programming comes from the use of logic. Try understanding how it works, and the rest just falls into place.
I think the only solution for a totally flash site is to use .txt files.
I have used them several times, laoding them into flash and if you use them cleverly they can work really well.
If you do the basic site design and have some MovieClips where you think you'll have pics in you can have a txt file which has the url of the img in, and get the flash to interpret it and do the rest.
A separate txt file for the text on your site and the images might be an idea as well. If you need any more help then don't hesisitate to contact me. I am really getting into dynamic stuff like this with .txt files at the moment. I'd love to be able to use /xml but i don't know where to begin, plus i don't feel the need....
