happens all the time, its how domain snipers make there living. thats why these days, companies protect all extentions and things such as


yourhostingcompanysucks.com

or yourcompanysucks

and things like that.

I don't even worry about that for 2 reasons..

1.) If someone goes out and registers and puts up a site that is "yourcompanysucks.com" or something of that nature, you know that you have grown big enough where someone feels that you did them wrong and they have to let the world know..


2.) You successfully pissed someone off where they go out of the way to tell people how much of a "bad" person you really are..

Either one of those reasons is gratifying within itself to not bother registering those types of extensions..

Well, when you have as many people as you have going to a website, someone always gets the typo domains to feed off the typo traffic (which is very existant mind you). They usually point them to a PPC park page which makes them a small sum of money...
