Also, the memory used is constantly going up.
It's normally VERY low as there isn't much on the server, its mainly just for the one site.
The server load is still 0.00 - Which kind of goes against my thoughts of exim going mad but I still think that might be part of the problem at least
Sorry must have been posting as you posted.
I have checked and exim is showing up a lot but I can't kill the processes.
Already tried restarting exim earlier, can't do much really since WHM is the only thing working.
Would like to take a look at the log files but need SSH for that.
Put in a ticket for a reboot 35 minutes ago at ThePlanet.
When it gets rebooted, I can check the logs when it comes back up but I think last time it just showed something like @@@@@@@ when the problems started.
Had 3 people look at this now and they couldn't work it out.
Had the kernel changed also and that seemed to be helping for a while but then it started again
I don't think it would be the RAM, I was already having other problems on a server just before this and the hard disk was transferred to a new, faster server which was already up for 2 weeks without problems.
Changed from RH9 to FreeBSD on the new server also
For the hacker...as it could be exim having problems, do you know much about the exim problem which was shown on WHM news?
I upgraded but it was on the exploited version for a while
268 exim processes were running last time it went down
Just went down again but only 9 this time - So its not JUST exim.
It seems like nearly every service is having a problem.
Have two techs looking at it now checking everything.
Hopefully someone has come across something similar to this before.
If apache and exim stayed up I would be happy, but everything seems to go at the same time.
