    Some DNS problem !!

    Hi ive recently changed to another server. nameservers r ns1.halfdedicated.com and ns2.halfdedicated.com

    my site is halfdedicated.com but its not coming up at all but it works fine with ip. help me out whats the problem.

    Hi

    If its WHM panel try to delete the DNS zone and add a new zone for halfdedicated.com. Then edit the dns zone and change the nameservers to the following .

    Name Server: NS1.HALFDEDICATED.COM
    Name Server: NS2.HALFDEDICATED.COM

    Did you register the nameservers (NS1 & NS2.HALFDEDICATED.COM) at your registrar?

    Are you getting an "rndc" error when restarting bind?

    yes
    iam getting an rndc error.
    rndc: connection to remote host closed This may indicate that the remote server is using an older version of the command protocol, this host is not authorized to connect, or the key is invalid.

    why is that ?

    I ve fixed that error now getting this
    rndc: no key definition for name rndckey
    and problem is still there
    all sites r down

    Did you do step 2 and then comment out the root reference?
