    DB support

My host has mySql support and the db is included on some plans, but not on mine.
When I asked whether I can upload my own db he said itr was ok with him, if I can get it to work.
    Should that be a problem?
On another host I run a site with .asp and MSAccess, which I uploaded.
As long as I can point my config file to it it should function, shouldn't it?

MSSQL should not work with MySQL.

You misunderstand - I am talking about my Unix/Linux server, who supports mySql and php, but does not include the db as a service on my account. If I upload it myself it should work though I would imagine, or not?

Well, that is what I thought.
Good news, won't need to upgrade to the next plan until later when I have outgrown this one.
