Follow Up: Beheading of American In Iraq

Yes I know there was a very long dicussion on this topic earlier. The thread was closed, but this isn't about the video as much as personal opinions. Now before you think I'm crazy and wanted that guy beheaded, back up. I do feel sick about it, and yes I've seen the video. But, you have to understand their religion, what they are doing and how we invaded them. I do not agree at all with the Bush administration for going to war. He got us into this mess, beheadings, abuses, etc. The war on terrorism can be fought other ways. But at all costs, like what happneded, we had to go to war. But the way it is now happening is wrong. There is no argueing with that. Also, I understand that Software has his own opinion about the video. BUT, some people ARE interested in these kind of things and not in a sick way. If this is wronog, I'm sorry but its your personal opinion, and mine. And the only thing you have over me is you admin abilities. So if you do not want to see this terrible video, simply don't.

<<<Mod Edit - Link Removed: As indicated in the closed thread, we will not allow links to this content. If you want to watch the video, use Google or another search engine to find it.>>>

Thanks for understanding

It sickens me that people can't act like civilized human beings.

The way the Iraqi prisoners were treated was terrible, and this is just sickening.

There is no "War on Terrorism". It's a "War for Oil".

Where the heck is the oil then? I'm tired of paying $2 a gallon for oil, and Iraq is even producing more oil now than it ever did before.

If we're going to say it's not a war on terrorism, then let's at least go with something that can be backed up and say It's a war to fix Bush's personal vendetta against Saddam Hussein. I do support the war, although not for the reason's the government used to go into Iraq (I think Saddam just needed to be ousted and dealt with), but we all can agree that anyone would have a personal vendetta against someone else who wanted to kill their father. You would, I would - anyone would. Quite obviously that's not exactly a valid reason to go to war, but no one can say that Saddam Hussein was good for his country or any country in the world. He was a threat to the world, maybe not directly to every country, but indirectly he was. If you attack one country, it's going to effect every other country in the world.

What's especially sad about it, is that he was a civilian and that's what sicken's me the most. That's what angers the most about these terrorist's who are fighting the USA's government, and claim to love the American people. If you're going to attack, attack the military, not some plain clothed civilian who stands a rat's *** in hell of defending himself against maniacs with AK-47's straped around their shoulders. It's obvious that these terrorist only want to kill, they don't want to make defend their freedom against the United States Government. They want to kill as many people as possible, no matter who it is.

You know what this really p*sses me off, this guy was JUST a businessman and they did this to him, he had done NOTHING wrong to them....These people are just SICK....makes me wonder how they would feel if we grabbed one of there family members, did that, recorded it, and sent it to them...but we wouldn't because we are not sick and ignorant.

Sick sick people.

You would think they could have at least knocked him out first. You could hear him crying out, then suffocating on his own blood as they cut in. And those idiots around him in masks chanting like a bunch of monkeys. In no way does the humiliation of prisoners equal what these people have done to this man.

It doesnt make me afraid of them, It makes me want to personally get my hands on them. That tactic works on middle easterners, but not Americans. It only makes us more angry, not afraid, as creating fear was their intent. This man was a "civilian", and knowing our stupid government, was probably not allowed to carry defensive weapons. I hope other Americans there learn from this, and die in any attempts by these people to take them hostage. Might as well die fighting, and maybe taking some of them with you, not giving up and hoping to survive somehow.

As for what terrorists want, they want the US out so they can feel free to terrorize their own people all they want..

Let's be clear about this:

There's a fine line between humiliating prisoners (possibly for evidence, you nor I do not know all of the details) and cutting someone's head off, recording it then broadcasting it.

The problem is they're having a hard time killing the coalition so they're having to pick easy targets. Bunch of pathetic losers if you ask me.

Again, ditto.

I only saw the first 5 seconds of it out of respect for his family and the fact that I don't really liken to watching stuff of that nature..
