CA was good at first, and then fell apart quickly. Our company started using them when they were in the transition phase between North Sky and Community Architect (After being bought by About.com). Towards the end of our time with CA, we couldn't accurately access membership stats, pageview stats, and they were completely bombarding free hosting users with popups. We still only received 50% of the banner ads rotated, and none of the extremely more profitable popups, so we closed shop, and started getting into paid hosting with reselling dedicated servers. It's not worth doing free hosting through CA, by any stretch. If you're truly looking to get into free hosting, do it yourself in order to take complete control of your services and revenue.
