Please let us know your needs/requirements... What I mean is suppose I have used ABC Hosting but haven't ever used their MySQL. ow if you need MySQL my experience will of less use to you.
Still, do read various comments by other people using Search Above...
Hope this helps
Any and all feedback relative to service, reliability, value, etc. would be most appreciated!
havent used any of them, but I have contacted with TotalChoice hosting once nearly a year ago. Even I am not their customer, I received their advices to solve my issue. So, for me, the supporting service in TotalChoice Hosting is very good.
Also I see they have servers at Dinix, a very stable place. So why dont you give them a try?
Originally posted by silverfreak TotalChoice is great for hosting and hosting support, but they still owe me about two weeks of payment for when I was working for them, so I can't say too many nice things about them.
If by solved you mean ignored my e-mails, instant messages, and tickets on their help desk.. well I think you get the picture. Lets just say I'm not holding my breath because frankly I'm not a big fan of turning blue in the face and passing out.
You're going to want to be careful about hosting with registrars. We've had a few clients who said they have hosted with registrars, many of them who have offered free domain names. Only problem is when they went to change hosts they didn't have access to their domain name. The registrar had the login and in some cases they wouldn't give it up to the client.
uptime and support are holistic terms that have many sub-levels each - when you say for example topnotch support - what are you referring to .......time taken to pick up a ticket , time taken to resolve a ticket , time taken to 'satisfactorily' resolve a ticket , amount of explanation you have to do to expalin your issue ..?
and i would certainly be keen on understanding what it means to say 99% uptime or 99.9999 % uptime ....is that really a meaningful way of judging an SP ?
