Help with a popup form

Hi, I have a list of items (messages) and I want to be able to reply to an individual message by opening a popup form. I want it to then submit, close and refresh the parent window to reflect the change.

So its going to have to give the popup a few vars which it can use to submit.

Whats the best way (with an example, pretty please!) of doing this? Javascript? DHTML? Voodoo?

Cheers, Mark.

You can open a new window using javascript, and just add the php variables to the script

Then the form will take the rest of the action..

about refreshing the mother page....I dont know how!

Peace,

I've done that kind of stuff without even reloading the main page.

You can access the mother page with this code.

window.opener.document.formname.fieldname.value = value;

Cheers,

Matt
