Capping post counts

Perhaps it would beneficial to "cap" post counts much like PayPal does for seller ratings (eg. 1000+ instead of 2500 as a post count on a user).

I honestly can't see the point in it.

That honestly makes no sense.

What would the benefit in doing that be?

A high post count doesn't mean quality, it only tells us about someones spare time....

My vote would be either to remove them entirely or leave them, I don't think capping them will do any good.

You lot obviously havent seen the 300 other threads that came to life when we played around with the post counts last time?

I think the entire WHT Staff would prefer to leave them exactly as they are, to play with post counts is to play with some strong emotions out there!

Trust me, you just dont want to go there...

Ain't no thinkin' about it.

As much as I would like to see them leave for certain areas, I would rather they all stay.

I tried the reputation thingy on my mboard and the members don't care for it. But it might be a different store on a much large mboard like WHT.
