yeah i ment support do you have any relation to this company or do you have a box with their company? any experiences to mention, do they actually 'manage' my box or if i get hacked will they just say 'good luck' or we will have your server back up in a week or some trash.
I have had personal experience with this company, and their support staff (and sales staff) was wonderful and very helpful. I know I've spoken to Shane on AIM countless times from FastServers.net, and he's great.
They offer *fully* managed solutions, but with all hosts, unless they state that they provide full security on your server, the security would be entirely up to you. Though I'm sure if you are experiencing problems, FastServers.net would be more then happy to work through them with you.
yeah i put in a sales inquiry. they look good, but ya never know untill something bad happens and i just can't go through that again, the stress is unbareable. just searching WHT right now about them (and yes talking about fastservers.net)
yeah it does, i have an ok ping to their server (fastservers.net) 89ms, however some other providers in my city get 50ms ping which is nice. they don't give enough information on their packages, like what version of redhat they use. I am in Canada on the west and that is suitable, however minimum amount of downtime would be the most important, and of course they are 'managed' though i do not know how far they take that.
It's worth mentioning that ServInt's sales is only Monday through Friday. Their support is 24/7 though and you can call their main number, follow the prompts and talk to a tech in the Datacenter anytime of any day...
been looking at www.dinix.com they look very good too...if i'm paying for managed hosting i hope these companies do a good job and i don't have to beg them to do the updates that i am paying for. i just had major network problems with my host and i am worried it will happend again, how is the most reliable host....any fastservers.net or dinix.com users please post here i would love to hear how your uptime has been and how they have been managing your servers.
Yes, due to a cleaning of our zone file for FastServers.Net and a recent move of our website to a new server, the default "No configured site for this address" from cpanel was visible while the new information propogated. We slapped our forheads bigtime over that one.
