I have been with VMC for a few weeks now (since Eryxma went belly-up), and everything has been just fine. I needed a couple perl modules installed, which was done in a reasonable amount of time given the fact that I only pay $2/month for my account. I've had 100% uptime as far as I can tell since then. VMC is still pretty small and new, so you're not going to hear a lot.
