need a server with garanteed speed
i have had 3 servers from canada by some one who ripped me off 1200 quid but they were good speed servers
i had a linux server from the panet was full of problems
but in the end we got good speeds
i now have one from servermatrix a windows 2003 server its slow as ****
i usually get 120 kbs downloads from my aol 1 meg account
im geting 34kbs from servermatix one at the minute
can any 1 do me a good quick server with the following
storage 120 upwards
bandwith 1000gb upwards
100kpbs
it must do me quick downloads
prefer to pay by paypal or nochex but can be credit card
failing this can any 1 tell me why my servermarix server is so slow
its got 100kbps card 200 gb hdd ect windows 2003 server and serve4u controlling it

What ping times do you get to ServerMatrix? Can you post a trace here? Also, where are you located? Nocster has great speeds around the country - Check out http://64.191.59.238/trace.pl to trace from Nocster to your connection.

ok so0 far the planet server ihad was a piece of s'''''t ,service was astonishingly crap
so i thought id try these server matrix and frankly they shouldnt be tradeing at all
i was on fone to them for 45 mins yesterday at international call charges to a guy who new nowt and said he would put a ticket in to check the routers no such ticket was made
45 mins wasted and god nows how much on fone bill

i mean i had 3 servers from a guy in canada for 4 months hadconstant max speeds
then he ripped me off but the service was good
how hard can itbe to get a server that give performance to me

If you're in Canada, I would recomend myservernow.com in Montreal PEER1 facility.
Contact leclair@myservernow.com, Martin and tell him that Wong @ UltraUnix sent you and he might be able to do a custom quote for you on 1TB BW. (they do 750GB max by default)

first off im hear for help not a slagging for lack of nowledge
second im in uk not usa my last servers were from a guy in canada not me lol
server matrix were cheaper than the planet and the planets was linux i was told to get awindws 1 from server to try it
as for pings i dont now how to do this because as i said i have some one whosets itup for me i just add theaccounts i need .
is it server4u im useing as a controll panel thing to add accounts ccould that be at fault ?
