    Top Upstate NY Collocation Facilities?

I’m not necessarily interested in collocation up there at this moment, but am just trying to get some homework done:

What are the top Data Center Facilities in the upstate New York area? Not in Canada, and not in New York City / Long Island -> I’m talking Syracuse, Buffalo, Albany ect.

    Thank you.
    Thanks,

    Keep in mind

Keep in mind that at our Albany location, the LARGE majority of traffic is backhauled to a major city (such as New York City or Chicago) before exiting. We constantly get people who are interested in our upstate colocation and dedicated servers, but keep in mind that unless you've got a VERY good reason for being in Albany, I would highly advise that you get a server in a more developed market such as New York City. From both a price and performance standpoint, it's a better decision. There are plenty of hosts (includng us ;-) that would be happy to serve you there.

In short, there's a reason why there is such a concentration of providers in the NY metro area. It's competitively advantageous in a lot of cases (especially in the high bandwidth markets) to be there. You lose a lot of these advantages by choosing a less developed/connected city (pretty much anything between NYC and Montreal!) as a location.

    Thank you Raj.

And Matthew, this is just the specific area I’m looking for some information on at the moment. I’m not moving to a colo facility upstate but have my reasons for potentially being interested in the future.
    Thanks,
