Question Looking for a control panel for my company's webserver

    Hi All,

I am currently hosting two of the company's domains with a hosting provider who uses Ensim and Redhat.

I want to implement our own FreeBSD Webserver which will be co-located as we have rackspace in a datacentre.

However, I want a control panel which would allow me to control the webserver as I am not very confident with FreeBSD or other packages such as MySQL etc.

    Thanks in advance

If money is an issue then go with Webmin/Virtualmin.

If money is not an issue then go with Directadmin (Then again Directadmin is so inexpensive you might want to go with it anyway).

My recommendation is Plesk if you want something simple and fast to bring up that is extremely stable.

At $30 a month for 30 domains that is not expensive and you sounded as if you only had a few to host.

    Thumbs up

    Thanks Guys,

I will have a look at Plesk and Webmin. However, I have been hearing a lot about DirectAdmin, Is there is demo of t his that can be demo loaded.

I only need to manage about 5 domains at max, it is not for commercial use just for my company's webserver.

Any other recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanx again

I think $30 will get you an unlimited domains license on one server.
