Don't advertise on searchXS.com
After checking my server logs, I only saw a lot of traffic coming from sites such as:
For your stats, these are unique visitors, but they aren't
These sites don't exist
Just to let you know
Don't make my mistake (and the mistake lots of others did)
We have been asked to add the following to this thread by the thread starter:
I wanted to add that this might be a missunderstanding and that the
webmaster of SearchXS.com is trying everything he can to resolve this
I just wanted to add this as I certainly DON'T want to affect his
If anyone else should have problems advertising on his site, just =
contact him: [email protected] to resolve your problem
Galacnet, do your server logs indicate that your visitors are coming from searchxs.com when you were/are listed under "top listings"
I'm not talking about your button which obviously has a different tracking mechanism
I tried SearchXS also...Many of the IP's that were referred to me were one digit apart. None of the traffic showed up on my live chat software so I guessing the page never actually loaded and he was sending fake traffice my way.
He has ten days to respond to the complaint. If he does not respond Paypal will try to refund the money. If they are unable to take funds from his account to refund the money his account will be disabled until the refund is processed. So he has to respond or I get a refund or he gets his Paypal account disabled. If I don't get my money back at least he can't do this to others.
I hate to jump to conclusions but if we wait I fear it will be too late. If it isn't too late already. If he can explain himself to Paypal he can keep my money but I would urge others to file complaints. He was always available when he was taking my money. Where is he now?
His post was in Other Offers and Requests on 4/29 or 4/28. I'm pretty sure it was 4/29 though. He was offering $2 text links on his site and then he changed the price to $5. I didn't post in the thread because I communicated with him through PM so I don't have a link back to the thread and I can't find it anywhere. It might be useful if he even bothers to contest my complaint. If anyone can find it pls post the link here.
Well once you are disabled all your post are wiped out I think....
Well.... It would be only $2 or $5 unless you are like me or some of the static link holders who pay more...
Because a recredit by PayPal may mean that you get only about a few dollars to a few cents back
There is an actual website which you pay a subscription and it sends out blank hits.. In other words, like a bot visiting your website with different names..etc - Very cheap, I thinks it like $1 per 10,000 hits... Im not sure though...
