I agree, they do look tempting. Haven't they had some recent problems???

In the past yes, we've had no problems since. They've also rolled in XO since then which is really quite a nice addition.

Opterons seem to do extremely well in performance tests, especially with Linux, Apache and MySQL. That dual opteron for $228 looks tempting. I think I will get one of those soon for some cpu hungry sites

as far not having problems, i thought they had problems with xo and took them out of the mix and then went back to having fewer problems but being single homed again.

XO has backed out but glad to know they have broadwing now. But from what I heard that it was not very good.

Please Keep This On Topic.
It seems arguing about their connectivity in such a simple thread isnt right.
The bulk of the off topic posts have been removed.
Thanks People

To put things on topic, I just ordered the Athlon 2000 to test out their network, support, reboot times, etc... Sales has been great so far, called them up & all my questions were answered. Managed.com no longer offers free kernel upgrades or anything like that, everything costs money now.

For All You AMD Lovers
Mnaged.com now do AMD processor powered servers!
And they are sweet pricing too. If they can maintain the last couple of months network stability (~100%) then things are looking up for managed.com.
