auth.net/modernbill problem
Can anyone help me with an Auth.net/Modernbill problem. I've spent the last few weeks messing around with Modernbill, and I have a fairly good idea of how to accomplsih most of the crucial tasks here, but this billing system is killing me. I'm coming from Clientexec which is much easier, but I really want to use Modernbill (it seems like a much more advanced program). Anyway, I've done just about everything. . . created my trasaction key, turned auth.net on, etc. Here's my process: I complete a mock transaction with my own cc (i created a $1 package for test purposes) via the online order form. The mock client account is successfully created. I then activate the client. Next, I encrypt the cc. When I'm done, I select generate invoices, then generate batch, then run batch . . . but nothing. The invoice does initially post as unpaid within Modernbill, and when I process it, it does (within Modernbill at least) post as paid. However, I never receive any receipt from Auth.net and the transaction does not post to Auth.net (i know because I check the Auth.net virtual terminal for verification). Any ideas where I'm going wrong? This is really driving me crazy. Also, the receipt that I receive does not contain the actual info, if that helps any. Instead, it contains Welcome %%FULLNAME%%!, etc. Someone please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Itried Modernbill for assistance but they're support seems to be very slow.

Any chance that you've turned on TEST MODE on either ModernBill or Authorize.net???

Test mode is on, but traditionally you receive a report from Authorize.net indicating that the payment was processed in test mode.

Where is it turned on? MB/Auth.net? The reason being, and I could be wrong, is that MB won't post details to the processor if MB is in test mode. Whereas, Auth.net just won't post to the card, but will still show a test transaction.
If anyone thinks differently, by all means, jump in and correct me.SuperWebHost.com, a Digitally Justified Company

Here's what I receive when I run the batch:
Ttl Approved: 0 = $0.00
Ttl Declined: 0 = $0.00

Keep test mode on in Auth.net and turn off test mode in MB. This should allow MB to post data to your processor (which won't actually process, because it's in test mode ).

If it is rubbish, then you will need to UPDATE CC as the encryption didn't take.SuperWebHost.com, a Digitally Justified Company

Yup, that's what it should do. Did you try the suggestion above that?

Hmmm...well, something isn't right here. With BOTH set to active, are you able to process a new order?

Everything is perfect, except for the fact that the transaction doesn't actaully process via Auth.net

Could the problem be that I haven't associated a package with the client? Is that a possibility?
