setting up secure server...
I currently have Nethosters internet hosting and I have Yourpay (Linkpoint) merchant processing.
I spoke to nethosters and they told me they can purchase an SSL certificate from "SecureSSL" and install it onto my domain.
is this the way that I should go about gettin a secure server?
i am going to put an order form which will transmit the user's information to Linkpoint's system.
I know that LinkPoint offers LinkPoint Connect & you do not need to have a SSL - LinkPoint will capture the CC data on their site. YourPay should have the same thing if I remember correctly.
If your hosting company allows you to purchase an SSL from any company, you can check out the prices at http://www.ev1servers.net/english/index.asp also.
yea linkpoint does offer that... but it is one of hte most ghetto and uncustomizable ones i have ever seen...hehe
thanx for the link though
Yeah - but they are working on that as well. Just actually put a few things together this past weekend on some things they need to work on / change. Hopefully a few of them will be implemented.
But right now, it should be customizable - at least the header / footer ...
yea... i need to customize more than that is the problem... i pretty much want to run the order form on my site so that i can have complete control of it
yeah the API is the way to go then.
