    Need help finding reseller that...

allows me to create a control panel for each subdomain I create. Allow me to clarify further more on what I was looking for. If I were to create a subdomain.mydomain.com, I want to be able to create a control panel access for someone for that subdomain. Also, the subdomain would have its own space allocation and not something along the line of
    ***.mydomain.com/subdomain
    . Any help would suffice.

PS. Plesk would be nice too. I don't really like CPanel.

Thank you very much for all your assistance,
    SubXO

    *** = www (wouldn't let me post a url until 5 posts )

So basically, you want a reseller account that will create individual accounts, ie:

    www.mydomain1.com
    www.mydomain2.com
    etc, etc, etc

That is pretty much how ALL reseller accounts work, so please clarify.

Try browsing the Shared & Reseller offers.

Also try the Host Quote system.

Look for a host providing Plesk Reseller accounts. You should be able to setup accounts like you want with most Plesk reseller accounts.

First off, thank you for replying!
Sorry for being so vague. I want one that creates individual accounts, ie:

    ***.subdomain.domain.com
    ***.subdomain2.domain.com

    *** = www

with previous experience, I know it's possible to do this.

    Thank you,

I'm not sure how a subdomain can control what happens on the domain seperately. Maybe if you split the account in two and use the subdomain to re-route to the other account?

With any reseller account you should be able to do this just first create a domain.com as one site and then a subdomain.domain.com as another seperate account.

If your reseller plan has a limit to the amount of accounts/domains you can host in your account this will add to that but I think it will do what you are asking about.

How do you go about giving the sub-domain a seperate control panel though? I haven't seen this before.

@VanHost: It's doable through Plesk from previous experience.

@Odd Fact: Do you have any recommendation or suggestion on a reseller?

Can anyone recommend a good reseller that uses Plesk? Thanx a lot!

    Cheers,

You can definitely do this with WebHost Manager.

Instead of creating an account TestDomain.com, enter Subdomain.TestDomain.com and that subdomain will be an entirely different account with Cpanel Access.

With Cpanel (reseller WHM), just setup the subdomain, as you would a normal domain. That subdomain will then be accessable via www.name.domain.com and will have its own email [email protected] and can have its own control panel like name.domain.com/cpanel. The subdomain would also have its own stats and usage etc.

You can also write a small script in PHP or Perl which will do this automatically and the accounts will get created. Please check the documentation at cpanel.net which gives information about using external php or perl functions to create accounts.

signatures must be set up in your profile

In Plesk, if you want a subdomain to have its own control panel and email, you set it up at the normal domain level and not via the new Subdomain feature introduced in Plesk 7. It will then have its own Application Vault, Mailing Lists, MySQL and everything else that a normal domain. The subdomain can also have its own subdomains.
