domain tracking question please help
I have a quick question. Lets say you are interested in buying a domain. The domain is whatever.com. OK, is there a way to check how much traffic this domain is getting if nobody owns it at this time? Can you check how many people might search for it through google or how many people try to access it by putting whatever.com into their address bar?
Thanks,
Dave

Hey
Thats a good question. I guess you could see how many times it has been searched for or typed in a certain search engine. But seeing old traffic stats and so on would be more difficult.

Is there a way to find out how much traffic the domain is getting from people trying to access it? If the domain is not registered that is.

If you have it connected to a cpanel/plesk etc account then yes. But just any old domain that you want to make up, no i doubt it.
