I have been comparing tera-byte and myservernow dedicated servers. I was recently told that TB's bandwidth is a much higher quality, due to it being considered East coast, than West coast bandwidth.
Is there any truth to this statement of East coast bandwidth being superior to West coast?
Longer answer: The only real 'advantage' over having servers located in either coast is proximity to users accessing the server. Even with this considered, there really isn't that much of a difference, and you should choose the provider based on attributes and metrics other than their coast. (other than for specific applications such as gaming where proximity/latency is important)
