Larry Page and Sergey Brin, who are these?

Larry Page and Sergey Brin are the two geeky lads that founded google and are set to become billionairs as the company goes public....

Larry's parents taught computer science and his brother runs the e-mail firm eGroups..

Serey is Moscow born and the son of a mathimatician....
They started off google in the uni dorm room then as it got bigger moved to the garage...lol Now they employ over 2000.

Will anyone be buying shares? I'm just wondering if googles popularity will increase or decrease over the years? Your thoughts please..

I think that is a very *wise* choices. Everything is *googlemania* because google are the largest at the moment, and more than that they have retained their integrity and that is how people perceive them. Google has a solid image for *trust*.

However, it only takes one company to buy another one such as yahoo to purchase *altavista* and adjust the algorithms, and altavista could be just as good.

Another one to look out for is www.alltheweb.com I believe they are powering various sites and there search facility is very good and I don't believe that you can get paid ranking with them. Does anybody know? So google is not the be all and end all as the postmaster sais. *googlemania*

if you haven't considered chapter 7 bankruptcy, maybe you should.
eliminate your debt, keep the property you want, most people qualify.

Will they really become *billionaires*?? Who said the dot com revolution is over? I love the story of how they got started from a basement.

Those old designs look kind of bare compared to recent ones lol. Seems kind of strange. Where do they get all those old pages from? Is that website caching all the old stuff or something?

The Internet Archive Wayback Machine is a service that allows people to visit archived versions of Web sites. Visitors to the Wayback Machine can type in a URL, select a date range, and then begin surfing on an archived version of the Web. Imagine surfing circa 1999 and looking at all the Y2K hype, or revisiting an older version of your favorite Web site. The Internet Archive Wayback Machine can make all of this possible.
