On Cpanel it normally resets on the 1st of every month, it is not based on date of account creation.

Actually, it's the 1st of every month on a CPanel system.

1st of every month.
However, I would imagine there would be some way to make it so it is the account activation day.

it depends on which CP you are using. For cPanel, it's 1st day of every month, but for HELM, it's the date of account creation. For other CPs, I am not sure, because I dont have any experience

You would be best just asking your host the way they run things. It depends how they set it up and on which CP they use.

It depends which CP you are using, as each one is different. cPanel goes by 1st of each month, and Helm goes on date of creation. Those are the only two I have experience with, so I cannot speak for any other one. Please let us know which CP you are referring to, so we may help you accordingly.
