I'm fairly new to WHM/CPanel, been doing alot of setup and testing. Had a quick question though. Is there anyway to automate the creation of a subdomain when an account is created? I am wanting to have a new account creation auto setup http://cpanel.domain.com and have it point accordingly.
Is this a feature in WHM already that I have not seen, or does this require alot of tweaking, etc?
Thanks for any information.

Maybe if you could post a little bit m ore about what you needed someone could help you. Personally, I'm confused as to what you're looking for. Are you looking for cpanel.domain.com to be automatically created? If so, no, this is not done automatically. Modifying the cpanel scripts to do this IS possible, however every time you update cpanel, those scripts will have to be RE-modified.
What you CAN do is use the http://domain.com/cpanel/ login if all you're after is a way to get individuals to login. However, I'd map that to 2083 rather than 2082, as 2083 is the secure login port.

Wolfstream, sorry when I tried domain.com/cpanel it did not work at first, I should have gave it a couple minutes. That will do just fine, I was thinking if it didn't append /cpanel then I wanted to autocreate a subdomain to point to IP:port.
