I am a reseller from the Netherlands and have many problems with Hotsitcheap. I paid hundreds of dollars for transferring domainnames and they just do nothing. I can't manage the domainnames and my cutomers are very angry because they recieve bills from the current registrar.
Hostitcheap basicly does not replay on emails and they don't have a phone. Sometimes they answer a email and then they say they will fix the problem but they don't.
As a foreign company I don't know what to do. I lost almost $800
Does anyone have a suggestion what I can do about this?
You can find out who are they resellers of by checking the whois details of one of your domains. If they are giving you problems it might be a good idea to move them to a more reputable company. As you have experienced, cheapest deal is not necessary the best.
I checked that and it all points to hostitcheap, and they don't react.
Finding another registrar won't be the problem, losing almost $800 is a lot of money..... but I am affraid that that is a fact....
Check the domain details at www.whois.sc their result will also show the ICANN registrar of the domain(s). Provided the domains are not locked and you do have access to the e-mail listed on the whois details you should be able to transfer them with out any input from them at all.
I found out that hostitcheap is a resller from enom. Lets see if they can help me.
Bandari, your right, Cheap isn't good mostly, now I now for sure... the time I spend with this company costs me many hours of work, and sleep....
They don't offer phone support, nor dor they advertise that they offer phone support. If you call the number on their website, you are even told to use the helpdesk system via a recording...
They offer a full domain management interface for you to change the contact details and name servers of the domains you have registered with them.. If you don't know how to use their interface open a ticket.. I am sure they will assist you.
