Domain Addicts, How'd you get started?
While searching for the perfect domain name for my company I've managed to get myself addicted to the whole DN searching, buying & selling process. The hunt to find a memorable, brandeable domain has made me lose countless hours of sleep!
I have a preset pattern I follow when I hop online, and my first stop is WHT, in particular the DN Forum. I'll surf dnforum.com while I'm eating lunch just to get a good grasp on what's up for sale that day. I've also dreamed about owning a 2 letter domain.
Am I the only person who's gotten addicted to domain name searching?

No, you are not alone....
I used to feel guilty spending too much money registering domains at $7 each a couple of years ago, now when I see some of the ridiculously high prices that good expired domain names sell for, I wish I had registered more back then.....

I know I am an addicted since:
It's been two years since I cleaned my guns.
I haven't changed out a processor or motherboard in six months.
The "honey-do" list is longer than my mortgage contract.
I sit on the can with my wireless laptop (now thats a site to see).
You PM people who beat you to a good sale and wish them the best (but your being sarcastic).
I eat a pack of Tums a day (because of the above).
I check my e-mail everytime I walk by a PC in my house.
Shall I go on?
Oh! I didn't answer your question. I got started in 1998 when a classmate in one of my graduate classes gave a demo on his family website/domain name. Netsol was so expensive back then.

i've been addicted more and more and the problem i'm a collector i like collecting so far i have an example from each type, except 1 letter domain from CNO but i do have single letter from ccTLD
i usually come here read the threads then surf all known domains forum for sales and wanted.
i really blame myself why i didn't register all possible names back in 1996 like 2 letter or 3 letter when they were available
